Narrative BI Integration for HubSpot: Setup Guide

This guide will walk you through the steps to integrate Narrative BI with your HubSpot account, ensuring a seamless setup experience. By connecting Narrative BI to HubSpot, you unlock a powerful analytics platform that turns your data into actionable narratives, helping drive growth through insightful, AI-powered recommendations.

Prerequisites

Before you start, ensure you have:

An active Narrative BI account. If you don’t have a Narrative BI account, sign up here.
An active HubSpot account with admin privileges.

Install the Narrative BI HubSpot App

Log into Narrative BI.
Navigate to Data Sources Settings.
Locate the HubSpot data source, click Connect.

Select your HubSpot account and click Choose Account.
Click Sign in with HubSpot to authorize your account.
Finish authorization on HubSpot. Select account you want narratives to be generated and confirm neccesary permissions.
Once you connect the Narrative BI app to your HubSpot account, you will be redirected to the Narrative BI "Select Source" page.
Once your source is validated, you will be redirected to the Narrative BI “Configure” page.

Configure

After selecting the data source, you will be redirected to the Objective Settings page. Make sure to keep the Conversion and Sales Intelligence objectives selected to get insights from your HubSpot data.

Click on Additional Settings to specify your primary and secondary metrics.
Click Finish to save the configuration and complete onboarding.

Use

Your narratives will appear in your Narrative BI feed.
You can filter the feed using the Insights menu, Objectives menu, and using Hashtags.
You can also select your HubSpot data source in the Sources menu to see HubSpot-related narratives only.

Disconnect

Log into Narrative BI.
Navigate to Data Sources Settings.
Click the Trash icon to delete your HubSpot data source.
